At least 16 more bodies have been found in Mogadishu, bringing the death toll from fierce fighting in the last three days in the Somali capital to 59.

A hospital worker in Mogadishu, who did not want to be identified, tells VOA that the latest round of fighting is the worst he has seen in months.

Protect Medical Facilities and Aid Workers
(New York, November 9, 2007) – Ethiopian troops and insurgents have violated the laws of war in killing and wounding dozens of civilians in new clashes in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, Human Rights Watch said today.
